Sally was absolutely incredible. On arrival, she greeted my dad by name and gave me a couple of key words as potential triggers that she would react to in regard dad’s dementia. She even bought a newspaper for him whilst waiting. Dad was assessed by Alan in a real compassionate way and with great dignity.
Sally turned what could have been a traumatic experience to one that I will remember even if dad sadly won’t!
Everything about the care and treatment and facilities at dri is excellent. The staff are patient, caring, helpful and direct. The only thing that lets the whole thing down is the processes. They take so long and are so obviously unnecessary. If I had not approached staff to ask about my results I would still be sat there now!
I cannot express how truly outstanding the treatment was that I received. Everyone I came into contact with was so helpful, professional and courteous. They are an absolute exemplary team.
After an accident near home, I was ambulance to the A&E department, where I was treated for the absolute pain , taken to a ward (9) and operated the next day, everyone I spoke to was always able to help me understand what was happening next, a really great hospital and staff, thank you to everyone for looking after me

I had to collect a prescription which should have really been given to me on discharge from A&E 6.30am Sun 23 December 2023 - Christmas Eve. I'd been in A&E since 7pm on Sat 22 December after being advised by 111 - I'd had chest pains during the night/early morning of 21 and 22 December. I was discharged from A&E with a diagnosis of Angina and that I needed to go and see my GP to get Aspirin and a Glyceryl Trinitrare spray.I asked the Dr at A&E if they could give me a prescription she said No. I told her as it was Sunday and then Bank Holiday 25th and 26th December my Dr's was closed. She told me to go to a Walk in Dr's! I phoned Cavendish Court who arranged for me to go to your UT Centre and they booked me an appointment for 3.15pm.
The Dr there apologised to me for A,&E not giving me a prescription/the medication as he says they should have.He was helpful, calm and efficient.
I wasn't waiting - he was on time for my appointment and came out into the Reception to call my name.
I can't praise him enough or the Centre.
The waiting room was calm and pleasant as we're the receptionists.
